    Heer M35 Reissue

    Hi Guy's,

Here is one that came in a few weeks ago a M35 SE66 reissue. I would say the helmet had its overpaint done at depot level perhaps by the soldier himself.

Hard to find with both decals painted around as the Nat shields were normally painted over.

Everything is dated 1937....I really like these types of combat helmets.

    Hope you like it.

              Killer helmet
Let me say first I'm just as guilty calling them such as its a habit, but in my opinion M35 helmets in this style are not really a reissue. I've owned a few in a simular overpaint style and I feel these are done by the individual early on. What I term making the helmet more combat effective by toning down that pre-war semi-glossy paint. Nothing is done to the helmet other than a flat overpaint applied, allmost allways neatly painting around the Heer adler and rarely the National shield(which makes this one even more the unique).
