This helmet belongs to a fiend of mine and we were looking for some opinions on it. I am not much help since helmets are not my area. He works in a local gun shop and they were out buying an older gentlemans collection when he found the helmet in the garage. It is marked ET 66 with a white 33 on the nape. It is more of an army green than other Luft helmets I have seen. It also has a lighter shade of green overspray (sorry it does not show up well im my photo). Would this be cosidered a camo helmet? Would this be a helmet worn by a soldier in a Luft Field Division? The chinstrap is dated 1941 but I have not checked the band date because the liner is dry. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil
