Luft visor and SS cap, any good?

Hello Everyone,

My friend got these from Europe and I was interested in one of them. What do you think? The luft looks good. The SS camo and material seems ok to me but I do not know anything about the stiching....

I dont like the look of the Luft ,I havent seen a band like that or a flop like that .Rob.

Luft visor is DDR. Only the winged wreath looks original. The faker did not try too hard on this one... very easy to spot


Camo does not look either as for camo pattern and construction metod.

Sorry , hope your friend did not pay too much.

I agree, I do not like the look of the luft. visor cap either. In fact, it looks very much a Bundes. post-war visor cap with the typical blue central band and stiff high crown, both of which are totally wrong for a Luft officer visor cap of the Third Reich. Also wrong is the metal wreath which should be normally stiched bulion. The interior of the cap is also typically post-war manufacture with wrong colours, materials, etc.
