Ty, With all due respects, here's a Norwegian lid that sold on eBay......The "lime" green paint on the interior should look familiar......It's similar to the one Emo has.....His however has a reproduction liner......I have one similar and you can see the Norwegian decals underneath the refurbed paint......Mine has the same style of repro liner.....And as for all this stuff, it's what someone is willing to pay.....I cannot guarantee ALL size 66 or 68 refurbished helmet will realize that kind of money.....Like ALL auctions, it depends on who's watching and what people are willing to spend......Bodes

It's the Norwegian made liner and chinstrap, actually.

Sorry, the helmet Emo has pictured has the Norwegian manufactured liner and chinstrap rather than the dyed German liner. If it wasn't for the repainted outside it would be a great helmet.

                Agree,

But I prefer the dyed german liner and repainted shell.

Size 66 helmet shells do have value to reenactors. I think this is worth $80 and would sell quickly for that price. I have seen original shells with repro liners and chinstraps sell for $200, absolutely. In fact if you decide not to buy it send me a PM, I know some reenactors who could use this (repainted and with a repro liner of course).
