Evening Gents , Am I right in thinking a late war 42 lid of mine stamped ef62 and 2944 on the neck would be an A.G./ Fulda ? I only ask because although the cheek guard stamp is very faint there isn't the full stops between and after the last letter that I've seen on others . The liner is a size 55 . The poor thing is a reissue victim of the Austrian fire service with a missing badge . There's a large inked 131 on the neck guard which I presume is a fire service issue number . I'm presuming these helmets were post war supplied to the Austrians ? And finally and I know it's a long shot , but I don't suppose anyone out there has a spare badge for one of these they'd be willing to part with ?
