this helmet is fresh pick from vet family , maybe the decal is original to the helmet , is hard to believe that the old guy put original decal on that helmet , but I will not argue with you guys about that I’m not helmet expert.

Could be vet applied , loads of these decals were and are still floating around so he needn't have been old when he put it on.
