Hey guys, a friend of mine picked up this helmet in Ukraine from a guy who found it near a swamp, the chinstrap and liner look remarkably preserved, and a decent amount of original paint is left. Thoughts?

Was it found in mud or under water maybe?

I don’t know, he just said a swamp inside of an abandoned home
