I have to agree.
Look at known ORIGINAL Runes and you will see the details that make these so obviously wrong.
This takes time, but eventually you will gain experience and confidence.
However, there are some Runic decals out there which even experienced collectors find it hard to agree upon.
But these are definitely bad ones.

My angle is the runnes decal would have been more distressed as per the helmets condition,its a bit clean so i woulod opt for repro ,sorry James/IRELAND

That first one looks like at least the faker put some effort into it.

But that second one is so bad....it hurts my eyes even to look at it!
