    Hitler Jügend winter mütze

    Dear members

I bought this "Hitler Jügend winter mütze" last year at a resonable price , even if it was a fake it would still be reasonable. Though I'am having problems to indentify it to be an 100% original example, I was wondering if some headgear specialist could take a look at it

The cap definatly show's wear, there are no marks inside...

                Vorsicht!

Caps like this were made in Germany as late as the mid-1970s. There is no garuantee that this piece is of the NS period, actually. I bought one identical to yours at a Jahresmarkt in Bonn-Beuel in September, 1974 and would love to find more like it, actually. I have worn mine for thirty years. It has the very same Schweissleder.

In all cases has this cap nothing to do with a regular RZM made mod.35 HJ Winter-Mütze.
It could be a civilian cap worn by the HJ, but I don't belive it .
The HJ cap has to be black, not dark blue.
It 's not the good front buckle, this one is very offen used on fakes, the good one has to be in plain light metal and RZM marked.
A regular RZM made cap has never a "leather" edge around the visor.

                  And some other differences....

You can compare it with the pic below.
