I know Im a novice just trying to learn, but I dont think the two helmets on gunbroker 34236001 and 34236185, Are the perfect specimans after 60 years. Also on gunbroker 34055325, and 34655967 are the real deal either. Give me an opinion, because I think you veterans have taught me a few things. Also look at their other items.

Peter,The two SS helmets are refurbished jobs....The Luftschutz looks like it could be original but is minus the decal.....Better Luftschutz helmets can be found elsewhere....Bodes

Thanks for letting me know they are refurbished. They would be good for reeactor, but not ideal for collecting. Im learning every day.

generally you wont find any original helmets, espicially SS on ebay or gunbroker etc etc.

I disagree about ebay, you will still find ones you just have know what you are looking for. We discuse original ebay helmets all the time. True 90 - 95 % on the ebay helmets are fake but there are still good ones. I have bought several nice original helmets off ebay including a FJ.
