28th Division "Keystone" Souvenir M35 Heer

Some people like these, some don't. Personally, being from Pennsylvania, this is a cool piece of history. M35 ET64 reissue helmet.

            Great helmet.

I think these art helmets are great collectables, as they are a personal link with the vet who picked it up in the battlefied.Interesting the way the holes in the 31 liner wernt punched thru.I have seen that before ,i suppose the punching machine was due a sharpening ,James/IRELAND.

              Tom,

I love these helmets and would love to see a thread on them. If you ever think of parting with this helmet let me know. I have been looking for a nice one.

                    Hi Brian,

just saw this one after reading this thread:

                    http://www.militarycollectiblesinc.c...p?file=he00613

Since you are looking for one this might be it allthough it is not as nice as Tom's helmet.

I also like these helmets alot because they give you an insight into the American soldiers who fought in Europe.

                    Top piece, Tom!

                    Cheers,

                    bUDgI

                      budgi,

thanks for the heads up. I amlooking for amore complete helmet. There was one on Ebay about 5 years ago a KM that had an awesome GI art on it. It went for about $600 to go back to that day and bid higher!
