Dome Stamps, where to find info about them?

I have a helmet, M35 Single Decal Wehr. It has a dome stamp that reads
H.REKLL or H.REKLI, not positive. Anyone know what this indicates? The helmet is small, the liner is stamped 54. The helmet appears to have been overpainted? It has a much darker greenish grey rough color overtop of a lighter more apple green underpaint. I can not make out any stamp markings on it...i see traces of them, but I do not want to sand or remove paint to get at the shadows of them..When my wife returns the camera I can post pics...
