Luftwaffe M 41 Hat ??

Hey Guys,
I picked up an M 41 Hat yesterday and had some questions. My Cam is down so I'll have to wait to get it fixed to post images, so here goes.
Did the M41 come in Luft Blue-gray? Mine is blue-gray.
The one I found came from an old collection but it had no insignia or piping at all, never issued or maybe removed? Tan liner with no Makers marks I can see.
The material in "limber" not stiff, and the bill of the hat feels "lumpy" inside.
Also it was sewn together with A dark green color thread. There are no tears or damage.
What opinions do you have on this?

Yes indeed, Luft m.41's can be found in blue/gray twill. These are rare caps, will be looking forward to a shot of yours.

Those shots were not encouraging IMO...a field made example possibly. Does not exhibit the characteristics of a proper, factory made blue/gray Luft M.41. Styling and fabrication are of concern.

Maybe I can take some better pics in natural sunlight? Flash messes with the color. Does anyone have a pic of one that is original?

I'm new to collecting and unfortunatley dont have that book, maybe by friend does. I'll have to check. In the mean time I'll try to get better closer pics.
Also, the troops actually made these in the field too?

Well, I may just consider it a fake and put it away. Mine dont hant the vent grommets, nor the center stitch going through the center on top. Oh well, I only lost $26.
