I guess it was OK for partisans to kill German soldiers, but not OK for German soldiers to kill partisans.

All depends on your point of view.

At an Antifa rally in Seattle, I think, a women bashed someone protesting Antifa on the head, causing serious damage. In court, the woman said she could not be tried for attacking the man whom she referred to as a Nazi. That was permitted because we were once at war against the Nazis. Therefore it is OK to insure of kill whoever she labeled as a Nazi. Are the Antifa heroes or terrorists?
Those pricks are anti America, anti first amendment and are ‘semi’ real nazi’s. Actually they are ludicrous, unemployed, immature fux that live at home in their mothers basement.

      Robt.

FANTASTIC piece of history Jean-Loup. Simply an incredible piece since you have the history behind it. 99.9% of battle damaged helmets are completely anonymous and the collector has no idea when, where, how, etc. the damage occurred and what happened to the soldier who wore it. You have the answers to all of that.

Where does one go to join the National Socialist German Workers Party? Short of being an actual member of that organization, every accusation of being a “NAZI” falls something short. Slam dunk court ruling, the crazed “b&@!%” gets three years hard labor and some history lessons.

Correct...Most Germans including SS were not NSDAP members.

No matter his nationality he was a man who died in this helmet.
Rather a poignant piece of history, thanks for showing us JL
