This M42 has obviously a fake chin strap, are there any other originality problems?

Except chinstrap everything looks good and original.

Someone may have wire brushed it and removed some details from decal, it looks overcleaned.

Yes, maybe even sandpaper, vent holes are back to shiny steel, ouch....

If it is for sale I would pass. Good helmet but better can be found.
