Well, let's start with the fast-mobile division (celeri). These were hybrid divisions initially composed with two cavalry regiments (each on two mounted squadron groups and one mounted machine gun squadron), a regiment of cyclist bersaglieri (later transported by trucks), an artillery regiment with a 75/27 mm hippo-trained battalion and two 75/27 motorized battalion and an armored group with 61 light tanks (CV33 and L6/40). The divisional strenght as of June 10, 1940 was 7310 men, 2154 horses, 418 motor vehicles, 24 artillery tractors, 539 motorcycles and 2500 bicycles. The weapons, in addition to the aforementioned light tanks, included 48 cannons (16 anti-aircraft 20/65 mm, 8 anti-tank 47/32 mm and 24 field pieces 75/27 mm), 249 heavy machine guns and 172 light machine guns. Without effective operational capacity in the context of a mechanized war, the fast-mobile divisions saw very limited operational use and were largely reused for the establishment of other types of units.
