A topic already covered. I thought of making a summary table of the variants of the artillery and engineers' collar patches of the coastal divisions and brigades:

Machine gun officer 1943. If authentic, a very desirable piece. I say if, for the following reasons:

      - the ribbon was established by circular order of the War Ministry of November 1941, no. 97100, and then renewed by the decree of the President of the Republic of November 17, 1948, n. 1590, art. 4, Establishment of a badge for the 1940-43 war period and a badge of the war of liberation (published in the Official Gazette general series n.27 of February 3, 1949) and by the decree of the President of the Republic of May 6, 1959, n. 399, Commemorative medals of the 1940-43 war period and the war of liberation (published in the Official Gazette general series n. 148 of June 24, 1959) and it is still in force. Consequently it was produced in large quantities after the war.

      - The same reasoning can be applied to the collar patches. Created during the First World War, they were reintroduced in 1934, but nevertheless still included in the latest series of additions and variations to the 1971 regulation.

M40 jacket of a 2nd lieutenant of the Pistoia Division. Please note the red piping at the cuffs. I used to own a Savoy Cavalry jacket with the same peculiarity:
