Just to slightly diversify the subject, the history of the Italian Republic ceremony uniforms. The black one was introduced in 1957 with the rank badges on the shoulders until 1962, when they were moved (as still now) to the sleeves. The greatcoat was made of blue cloth, called "infantry blue". The white one was adopted in 1957 with the rank badges on the shoulders until 1968, when they were moved to the sleeves, and it was abolished in 2004:Last edited by enorepap; 04-13-2020, 05:03 AM.
