I don't know much about Italian pieces so I need some help with this ring and if it's good, is it related to anything specific

I would say fake....Why would you not just use the term for which he was more reknown for (DUCE), instead of the Latin variation (DUX)?....Just seems odd to me.....Bodes

Because if you had knowledge of the spirit of the age you would know that the culture of the Fascist regime was marked to revive the glories of the Roman Empire including the Latin language that appeared in a multitude of mottos and inscriptions, Dux being one of the most common one.
In spite of thecoarse manufacture, which occurs in cheap propaganda Fascist items, this ring does have a chance.

it seems self-made with makeshift material ( a soldier in the long hours ???)…………...the usual ones of Predappio shop for "tourists" are different
