    Hallo Ron

The commemorative cross of the 11th Army was an unofficial medal realized by private initiative, intended for the personnel of the 11th Army of the Italian army during the Second World War.

The medal consisted of a Greek cross in black enamelled bronze and bordered with gold. In the center was the Savoy black heraldic eagle with a gold background in the shape of a fasces bundle surrounded by a black ring with the letters "11ª ARMATA" engraved in gold and a gold Savoy knot under the eagle. The golden reverse bears the black circular inscription "vehemence and tenacity November 16, 1940 XIX" in the center of the cross.

The red band was 18 mm wide.

    Best regards

Looks like an unmarked original, the ribbon is not what prescribed for that cross.
