WWII Italian?

Hello,

I’ve been offered this cap. The seller is telling me it’s WWII Italian but it doesn’t look like anything I’m familiar with. I’m interested in the anti partisan warfare in Yugoslavia and I’m branching out into Italian military but, I know very little. Can anyone help me identify this? Thank you.

Thanks Nick! I figured either post war Italian or maybe Hungarian. I have only a few books on Italian stuff and I’ve never seen that cap. Much appreciated!
