Brown panzer wrapper uniform?

Hi guys,

Today got this - and still not sure what exactly it is... I would think that it is a Bulgarian WW2 tank troops wrapper tunic. Though I have a few period pictures, that show a bit different uniforms. But as said, they are only a few and are from summer, while this is winter heavy wool uniform. So... can say nothing more for sure, but will update if find out something.

Stamped inside, the text says Ministry of War, Chief Intendancy. I'm burning of curiousness to find out if it is really panzer or other branch of service

So, to keep you updated, I managed to identify it!

It is inedeed a very rare piece! About 4 or 5 have surfaced recently from somewhere, one came to me, others unknown where and one in the Military museum - that's from where the identification came.

So, this is a jacket for Bulgarian skiing infantry, introduced in 1937. A very small unit from the infantry was trained to be something like mountain troops - to operate in winter conditions and to move faster of skis. The jacket was worn with straight pants /not breeches/ from the same matherial. The hat was looking very similar to the M43. So, now the objectives are finding a hat and a picture of these in use

Hi . Did you see that same sort of wrapper on sale actually on ebay. There are tank insignia sewn on it ?
Did anyone try to upvalue one of the skijacket described upthere?

Yes probably ski over panzer........too many buttons, pockets , straps and buckles to get caught up in the inside of a tank.

I'm not yet sure what exactly the brown thing is, but for this one, I'm with you, an "upgrade" IMO.
