Italian ww2 canteen ?

found this yesterday in a garage sale for 4 euros ;

is it an original ww2 for italian army ?

Yes it's italian, but postwar, sorry.
The cover has the typical postwar color. The wartime cloth cover was fieldgrey, "Grigioverde". These canteens, postwar and not, are always with no markings at all.
