Italian REI officer tent ressurected

Bought this tent almost a year ago.
It was post ww2 overpainted in grass-green so that it could be used for civic camping in the GDR. The tent actually came from Saxonia.

Yesterday my brother and I finally did what I had planned since long time:
Taking down the green paint.
Well, using a Karcher the result was quite convincing. ;-)

This is the only picture I have of this type of tent.
I'd fancy quite a lot seeing more period pictures of this type of tent.

Fantastic tent Tankredi...nice find ....that paint you washed off has helped to preserve the camo pattern from fading when its been used for camping trips since its Italian army use ended !..Semovente
