    Unknown (to me) Italian patch

    I came across this one.
Seems old construction but I don't have a clue.
It depicts a Venetian gondola and a depth charge.

    I'm here asking for help.
    Thanks in advance.

      Thanks Semovente!
Hope you don't mind I saved for my database your pic of the metal insignia.
      Will search more about that.
It's a nice patch, coming from a stripped tunic....in fact the tunic was so poorly stored that literally rotten up in the hands of the guy who gave me the patch.
      This was his story.

          Thanks Semovente.
I found that the "Flottiglia Dragaggio Venezia" was attached to one of the 2 Maricoser (Comando Servizi Marina), the other one was in Genova.
It had several Units for defense and minesweeping as you said.
It seems that they were attached to the Kriegsmarine at some point.
Maybe I'll find some more in books...

              Nice badge!
I think that this badge can be german, not italian.
Look at these pictures, from my collection...

It depicts an italian ship, the "Daino" that was captured and reused by the germans in Venice. The pics come from a lot belonged to a "Matrose" operating in Italy

                Outstanding pics!!!!!
                Thanks!
These troops were under German command so it could be either way.
The pics you're showing depicts one of the boats used by those mens...I will definitely ask for translation, it describes the type of ship end equipment....
