    Hello SL320...opion i have found is various on these cloth sheilds !...some like them ..others dont !?..while photos are to found of them being worn to prove their use !..but even in fausto Sparacinos 2nd book he states that one type to be found of these cloth sheilds is proved since publication of his book 1 on RSI badges to be a fake !..i have one and iam happy with it !..Imho to me your one looks a little too new !?...the collers however seem ok to me !..imo.!..Semovente

      Well known photo in which can be seen RSI Marines sporting cloth arm shields on their jackets !

        RSI X^MAS cloth sleeve shield were irrefutably made and worn, but I’d acquire one only with solid rock provenance (like I did from the relative of a vet). I’m not too keen on yours.
        The zinc alloy insignia on the collar tabs is period but the fabric looks new as compared to the patina of the insignia. I’d expect a more old looking cloth, if you know what I mean.

                Yes I completely agree with your opinions.
                These badges are sewn on a little bit strange Sahariana... The whole seems to me too new and artificial aged...
