The visor trimming of the 2-button cap appear to be of some sort of plastic, you should check what material is. I can also barely see some plastic between the liner and the inner edge of the bill. Wartime ski/mountain/field cap would normally not have a sweatshield which, on the contrary, is customary on postwar West German cloth caps. Be advised that caps like yours (with plastic buttons, horn buttons or a buckle) have been a popular style of headgear in Germany both during the Third Reich and for decades postwar.
