          Hello Gordon,

          nice latewar MÁVAG helmet.
          The small mark in the back skirt is a "10" in the circle, it indicates the hardness test. (the helmet was tested in the factory).
          The marking on the liner is the coat of arms of Hungary and the the abbreviation: KÁB (Központi Átvevő Bizottság - Federal Acceptance Comission)

            Thanks for your quick response and the excellent information. How much would this helmet sell for on the open market? I'm selling off my Hungarian WWII collection and a current price estimate on this helmet would be of great help to me.
