    Army distinctive mini badges

    Can anybody help with info on these badges.Why where they made and how where they used and with what uniforms?

    These are lapel pins intended for civilian clothes. From them, you could find out the bearer's rank and corps of provenance. For example, the first one was for an enlisted man in the mountain troops (Alpini), the second for a major in the Corps Artillery, the third for a lieutenant in the cavalry (lancers) and so on

        Sorry, but they are not the Graal
        They are very common and rather cheap. Not much sought after by collectors as they were intended to be worn on civilian clothes. About price, I found similar ones on Ebay for sale between 5 and 20€ with the buy it now option, but this is what the sellers ask, not their actual value. The average price should be around 10€ each I think.

        On the other hand these badges are nice looking and exist in many variation. Because of this and of the low price they can be a good theme of collecting, although not as intriguing as other "combat" items.
