Hungarian Aviation Badge Help Requested

This is sewn to a soldier's pouch as one of his souvenirs. I know it is Hungarian from the crown, but I have never seen a badge like this in metal. It looks similar to the observers badge. It came back from WWII, but I would hope to find the identification and era of this badge. I have searched the internet and not found one in this pattern.
