    Well after a year I finnaly opened my gmailaccount and run into this great post! Thanks a lot for sharing! And thanks for mailing me, Mario.

    In the pas years I ran only once into a silver one. I do assume a Trouw-badge in gold could exist, but Eman never mentioned something about the rewards. I tried to dig up some documentation in Amsterdam (at the NIOD), no luck at all.

      Mario, Never seen the paperwork .. very interesting...

      Here is a recent pickup, only ever seen one other silver one.

                    A few weeks ago I tried to find out more about the Dutch NSKK-men in and aroundd Milerowo and the Trouw-Eereteken. I did research three files of Dutch NSKK-men at the National Archives in The Hague, but no luck what so ever. The men lost their lifes during the fightings in november 1942. One of them was severly wounded and died 1-1-1943.

                    The above mentioned men are very interesting to me, I will try to find out if they got a record in The Hague. Hopefully they got a file, maybe some information about the Trouw-Eereteken. Fingers crossed, it will take a few weeks though.
