      Yeah typical German. I have several. The RAD version of these actually had skirt pockets WITH closure flaps (just like the Italian M35 fatigues), so more similar.
      Those were often also issued to the Heer when the RAD downsized and men being mobilized into the army so those stocks were needed!
      The one that started the thread indeed is more German Army like with "open" pockets.

              Yes you are right, the cover for the Royal Carabininieri's " Lucerna " is one of the rarest pieces of the italian militaria.
