Italian pilot "S" wing, stratospheric flights

I would like your opinon on this Italian "S" pilot wing (Brevetto da pilota della Regia Aeronautica con specializzazione alta quota).

The "S" wing was awarded to Italian Pilots flying experimental flights in the stratosphere.

I can't find much information on this rare badge.

    Thanks!

Looks good but excess of soldering stuff make it suspicious.
Maybe the 'S' got lose at one point and the holder made a period repair?

Yes it looks good to me too, of the later type (because of the pin's catch) and has been roughly repaired.

        Thank you for your opinions.
I looked closely at the soldering and it was like a dust, probably an oxide from the real soldering under the S.
I washed it in water and it came right of.
