    ww2 italian shelter half / shelter section

    hello

    got this italian shelter half in brown, stamped with 1943 and milano, what kind of shelter section is it?

      3CCC ..it a pre WW2 shelter quarter...these tan versions were used mainly in North Africa by Italian troops & Germans too...not a common item to find these days so a nice find...

                No, WWII Telo Tenda M29 have Bakelite buttons with 3 or 4 holes. Rare are with unpainted alluminium button. The sand jalb Telo tenda was used also in the mainland.

                  If i may add, the Buttons i know of are either bakelite, white metal (as in a steel/zinc mix) painted brown and corozo ( Frutto? in italian) as well. Photos of this particular telo tenda also seem to have been used by the San Marco Marines in North Africa
