Fascist dagger Model 1937 "eagle beak" [Authentication]

    Hello,

I'd like to have your opinions about this Italian dagger Model 1937 with an "eagle beak". Is it a true one or a copy ?
Can you also tell me what's the price range for this kind of dagger ?

I add that the tip of the sheath can be screwed on.
Thanks a lot for your help.

    Regards

    Antoine

Thank you Semovente ! Yes, with hanging straps and chains it costs more.
Price for this one is round £510.

            Thank you Ironcrown.
On another forum, I was told there were copies of the fasces and that the fasces had to measure exactly 1 inch (2,54 cm). In this case the seller told me it's less (2,1 cm).

Do you know about this ? Whoever the manufacturer was, the fasces had to measure exactly the same size ?

I post a photo zoomed on it. I don't understand how it can possibly be bigger in the same hole. What do you think about it ? How can we see if the insignia has been replaced by a copy ?

EDIT: Besides, the "fascio" doesn't fill the entire hole... Have you seen this already on a dagger ?

Well, I have the answer. The dagger itself is good but the insignia "fascio" has been replaced after the war. It explains why it doesn't fit exactly.

Maybe the original one was removed during the "epuration" of the fascist regime.

Standing on the white colour of the handle, this last knife was intended for a general . . . .
