Italian Navy Wine Glasses from U-234

These belong to a Woman friend and her Father received them from the Captain of U-234. He was a Navy Man on the Sutton when U-234 surrendered and was part of the crew on board when it was towed to Porstmouth Navy Yard and these were given to him by the Captain. She is wonderingly anyone would have any idea of value?

          Hallo mrcrtm

The Harbor Militia was established in 1923 and recognized by Royal Decree no. 214 of January 20, 1924. It depended only for its tactical use by the Ministry of Communications. It acquitted tasks of marine and port police on the coast, in ports, on land and at sea. It was a special department of the militia with police duties. It depended for the disciplinary action by the General Command of MVSN and was also a part of the Armed Forces of the Italian State. The badges engraved on glasses can be dated back to the 1938-1943 period.

          Best regards
