    Three Croatian badges

I've had these 3 Croatian badges in my collection for a while now but never really checked on any of them. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

The only one that is marked is the NDH pilots badge, the Croatian Legion pilots page and NDH paratrooper badge are unmarked. The lights that I used make them appear brighter and more shiny than they are.

Unfortunately the paratrooper and legion pilot badge are fake. You can see originals posted in my site.

          Thanks All.

So at least the NDH pilots badge had promise?

IMO pilot badge is also post-war product.

I sent photos of the Legion badge and NDH pilots badge to two very well known and respected dealers and both said that the legion badge was an original. One dealer said the NDH badge was original and the other dealer was it was a repro.

I'm going to go with the dealers opinion and say the legion badge is original and the NDH badge might be original.

                  Croatian Legion No-Go

                  Shooter,
I also enjoy and collect NDH items and have been burned by a similar copy of the Croatian Legion badge. There are several threads on WAF that will benefit you on your quest to obtain period produced NDH awards. I can speak only for the Croatian Legion piece, as that's one I have experience with. The first thing I look for with these pieces is The bottom of the "U shield" at the top of the badge should be entering the top center white box ever so slightly. Yours is not and thus, by my opinion, not a known pre45 piece. There are very good copies out there, as you can see. I know the goal is to find the truth and that is why I attempt explain my opinion.
