Well looking on the net just now...i saw this but its described as Fascist Italian Blackshirt insignia !!....

Hello GAM1...thanks again for your info...yes i think its as already said something to do with Vichy police rather than Facist Italian as described on the other badge i found..maybe for a officer or some higher Police offical ?...cheers Semovente ...
