    All the wear certainly looks like purposeful tool mark damage . Very unnatural looking. I don't like the stencil either so a poor attempt .

    I only owned one port militia helmet , normally it's a hard to find model.

      Exactly my thoughts.
      Felt of the liner looks to yellowish to me to be ww2 era production.
      Rivets for chinstrap look also a little fishy.

            I can't say about paint and stencil.
            What I really don't like are the paint damages, that look like they have been made artificially.
            I have never seen a similar usage or ageing on original helmets.
