I found this US 10 Dollar Facsimile With Italian Note printed on the back. I would like to know what it was used for.

It is an object of war propaganda. The Italian translation of the text on the back is the following:

the Anglo-American bombers that got excited about our city, destroying private property, works of art, churches, hospitals and schools in the vain hope of depressing the spirit of the Italian resistance, prove to be worthy allies of those Bolsheviks who massacred old people, women, children, priests and sisters of charity, with the sole purpose of annihilating every sound principle of morality and religion. Italians, we must resist at all costs to save the religion and the homeland with the victory of Fascism.

Very unusual item of propaganda...nice that its Axis related as some nice Allied examples have been posted aswell...it seems these air dropped leaflets are quite sought after by collectors as only a few survive !....
