I have searched the name in the Italian site and apparently the soldier has survived the war.

Did it come directly from Russia?

80 infantry regiment Division Pasubio . Left wing of 8e Italian Army on the Don river in December 1942, just on the right side of the Alpine Corps. Very nice piece of history
