    Szent László Hadosztály Badge

I've read these rare badges were produced in Aluminum. Also, the ones I've looked at do not have a pin and catch assembly. Instead, they have a hole in each corner of the badge as if to be sewn on to a cap versus worn on a tunic. I've seen photos of them worn both ways.
Were they ever produced with a pin catch assembly? Were they ever produced in zinc?

I once had a badge for a brief time that was bought from a dealer. It was made of zinc and had pin and catch but the badge was crudely made and I ended up returning it. The badges that I have and have been considered by collectors as originals are as you indicate made of Al and has the pin holes on each corner.
