Non-portable Winter war medal

Made of steel from knocked out Russian T34 tanks, and handed out to the Finnish soldiers after the Winter war 1939–40.

Text in Finnish and in Swedish, front (soldiers): "I have yet never seen warriors like you" (by Carl Gustaf Mannerheim, Fieldmarshall).

In the middle Lauri Törni, who also served a short period in the Waffen-SS (SS-Untersturmführer) and was killed in action in Vietnam, as an officer of the US army.
