    Italian Tropical Jacket

    Hello,

I was wondering your opinions on this tropical jacket. I am not familiar with tropical uniforms. Seller listed it as Italian ww2 army tropical uniform jacket rsi gladio collar tabs. I spoke to a fellow member here and i agreed with him that i should post a thread to be sure.

This is a jacket model 35, was made for the A.O.I. in 1935-36,
a model for the officers, Had loops for the shoulder straps.
Semoventee looks in the book Italy at War, I photographed an equal, of a lieutenant
      of black shirts.
Strange that was used during the RSI.
      Ciao, Luca

Is it possible? Or are you thinking its a put together? I do value your knowledge.

        Thanks.

I do not know if the jacket is sewn at the RSI era, but a colonial M35 used in the RSI is strange. However it remains a beautiful object, and this kind of jacket is very rare.

As you know John I'm not an expert on italian tropical items.
I was a bit scared because after WW2 the italian army and other various corps similar khaki jackets in mod.40 style. But we can sleep tight if Ardito and Semovente say that this one is pre-war made
The doubt remains regarding the RSI use: it's very easy to upgrade a stripped tunic to a RSI one: the insignia were usually hand sewn, and often very crudely...
