      Hello jmcm:
IMO a fantasy fake, based on poor eagle
screen print quality, bogus PNF markings, etc.
Also not in Brisone (ISBN 88-7133-245-8).

Interesting. I note another like example previously posted
on the WAF, and cited as "in storage for 26 years, ... from
the widow of an early collector in the east ...[ern USA]."
Likewise, I've seen just the screen printed eagles listed
separately on eBay and elsewhere online, thus IMO .

yet another sewn on printed eagle ...

              jmcm:
I looked further through my flag photo archive, & noted
another like sewn on eagle, screen printed on different
material. This banner was sold on eBay in July 2013. Not
sure if this example is proof of the eagle's WW2 period
use or not. Although I can say that it is IMO odd to have
just the eagle emblem screen printed with the lettering
done in bullion wire embroidery. Back on this banner is
all blue, and without any stamped markings.

                Nons

Hi OFW, the last blu/withe flag you shows Is to me an original flag, but here we are talking of a nons ( sisters) congregation , nothing to do with Fascist party, except that at that time , as you know, all flags must be connected to fascismo, so it is for sure a handmade flag done by sisters ( milizia in this case is not releated to a military unit!!!).
All flags were connected to an association or Fascist sections, the most with a center fascio and descrition above. So as you says , also to me it is odd to have only an eagle emblema ( and for sure not a flag poorly manufactured as the one show by jmcm)
                Ciao
                Andrea

yes,you got it (the 5 lira is also very nice and the only coin in silver).
I cannot show you, but the two lira -L.2 has the eagle not so beautiful ,with the face looking left and is more similar

The flag/Banners have been around since The 70s . I have also seen the eagles un mounted alone.

Yes , very well could be fake, but at least 40 years old . I can guarantee that.

All the ones I saw were always in new condition.
