Hello...I would say post war...why?...it looks from your pics as if the rivets are third type i.e...post WW2...they dont have the step at the rivets base (2nd type)...and 1st type are different again...hope that helps some?....

The insignia does not exist on this type of helmet. too big.
the Bersaglieri had tilted the flame, not straight,
Cacciatori D'Africa the crown instead of the flame,
Guardia di Finanza? Absurd! Ventilation hole of post war type.
For me it's a post war helmet of the police, with fake sand coloration and fake insignia.

No! The yellow/green insignia would signify a tactical insignia, generally
painted on a side of the turret of the Italian WWII tanks, but in this case it is absolutely an invention ... for an M.33 helmet.PaoloM
