    Italian WW2 alpine hat ..

A friend of mine found this Italian Alpine hat .
From the threads I have read so far it seems like a good WW2 version , at least the visor stitching would seem to be a good sign .
Worthwhile to ask for more pictures .. ?
Thanks in advance for all opinions .

The cap is WW2, but insignia is a M48.

I would also like to learn more about why the Insignia itself is postwar ( M1948 )
I was already happy to learn about the stitching of the visor , so the hat itself is older .. ?
        What would a WW2 insignia look like .. ?
        Thanks in advance ..

Inside , the leather sweatband is stitched along its upper edge as well ( so it cannot be folded outward ) - and the eagle insignia is stitched THROUGH the sweatband .

Would this mean the WW2 hats were simply continued for wear after WW2 - with another type of insignia .. ?
( Interior lining is a dark & rather coarse HBT )

                Hello,
This hat has all the characteristic of a ww2. but be aware that after the war felt making is the same. the stitching on the visor existed even after war.(until 1950)
Generally it is said that the black lining (chevron type) is after war. and another person saying that there were already in the war.

it's a very nice hat and very well preserved!
                  But My opignion
I think this hat is a postwar. just after war.
The ventilation should be iron rivets. While the picture I guess aluminum ?...

The rivets are indeed aluminum , not iron ..
