Italian Gladios on red tabs.

Looking for information on this item. I looked through the search but couldn't find anything like this. I know they are Italian Gladios, but just wondering why they on the red collar tabs.

Most likely Italians in a mixed Luftwaffe flak unit, I actually got one from a vet this way with a bunch of Luftwaffe stuff sewn to a cloth.
