Italia "Atlantic" submarine badge

Hi!

I have this badge in my collection, and I'd like to find out more about it.
It's rather small, some 22m high.

Because of a small size, I'd rather say it's a kind of unofficial badge, something
like commemorative one, not a service badge.

Manufacturer's mark on the pin base is saying:
Lorioli Fratelli
Milano

It’s an Italian Navy WW2 Submarine Badge for officers and petty officers serving in the Atlantic Ocean (Italian submarines in the Atlantic were based in Bordeaux, on the French west coast).
The rather small Submarine Badge was originally introduced on Sept 24th, 1924 and Bordeaux-based officers and senior NCOs had a red “A” (for Atlantico) added to the standard design. This badge was never officially approved but it was tolerated.
Lorioli has been one of the most renowned and prolific Italian maker of medals and badges since 1919.

Yes, these are pretty rare, I was looking for one for years, and it's finally here.
Now still have to find submarine badge and other naval-related badges of Regia Marina...
