Italian Badge ?

Hi I picked this badge up and was told its Italian. Is it and is it pre 45 ? Could it be a sapper badge? Thanks Mike

Not an italian artillery badge. I've seen these before. Can't remember if they were Dutch or from Belgium .

jackets of the period of Umberto I (1895 1900), on the uniforms for the Em, and Nco,
in parade uniform.
